The Model

The REVNTRA model was created by Professor Dr. Erich Priewasser and Dipl.-Kfm. Ingo Lippmann at the Philipps-University of Marburg, Germany, in 2001. By analysing international banking markets over several years Professor Erich Priewasser and Ingo Lippmann created this model to identify and forecast the most advantageous business segments in banking of each individual market.

Combining latest research in international banking theory with invaluable market judgements from highly recognized international and local professionals of various countries, the REVINTRA model is based on a sound theoretical foundation as well as on actual market evaluations. For each business segment in banking a specific mathematical model has been developed to analyse and forecast the banking services in each country individually. Taking account of the latest technological developments and the revolutionary effects of the internet on banking, the most critical challenges have also been included into the model. The results of this model will significantly help bank managers to identify the key success factors and most promising business segments of the banking industry of tomorrow.

The results of this survey will only be made available to those bank managers kindly participating in the GLOBAL BANKING SURVEY. As a 100 % academic research project this model is and will always be completely independent from any commercial interest.
